For Event Organizers

Over the last few years, Peter has given more than 2,500 presentations to groups as large as 5,000 and as small as 10. During that time, Peter has figured out what works and what doesn't. To get the most out of your event together, we drew up this list of requirements and suggestions.

Before the event

  • Peter is happy to schedule a content preparation call, so that he can tailor his message to your needs. His Business Manager Cathy will get in touch with you in order to schedule this call.
  • Peter will gladly work with you on a tech check or rehearsal the evening before the event or the day of the event.
  • When you announce Peter's keynote during your event, please keep your introduction as short as possible. He feels his keynote should speak for itself and that what the audience knows about him is less important.

During the event

  • For smaller events, Peter prefers to use his own computer, a MacBook Pro laptop running Apple Keynote software and to connect it via HDMI. His laptop is controlled by his own remote control and should be set up on stage (eg on a lectern or table), with a power connection within 2 meters. Peter requires sound out and connects to a standard audio jack plug.
  • For larger conferences, we will send you the Apple Keynote presentation beforehand, to run on your Apple computers. Please do NOT convert the Keynote into PowerPoint, since then we lose all the video editing sessions.
  • For any group more than 25 people, Peter prefers a wireless headset or lavalier microphone.
  • Peter’s presentation should not be recorded without prior notice.

After the event

  • If you wish to receive Peter’s slides after the event, please contact his Business Manager at cathy@peterhinssen.com. She will share with you a (shorter) PDF version of Peter’s slides.
  • If you have recorded Peter’s speech, please send a copy to Cathy so that she can approve it for distribution.
  • If you took any pictures of Peter during your event, we would love to receive them!
