Quantum computing is perhaps the most jaw-dropping ‘Day After Tomorrow’ technology out there. It could completely transform the way we think about computing, unleashing a power that is several magnitudes bigger than any device we have today.
A quantum computer with just 100 Qubits, would for instance be more powerful than the entire Tianhe-2 supercomputer. If you had a quantum computer at your disposal of just 300 entangled qubits, then you could, theoretically, sustain more parallel computations than there are atoms in the universe.
The technology blog TechTarget described the potential of quantum computing in a brilliant way: “Development of a quantum computer, if practical, would mark a leap forward in computing capability far greater than that from the abacus to a modern-day supercomputer, with performance gains in the billion-fold realm and beyond.”
In short, quantum computers could hold your future. Read my e-book here to know all about it.
